First impressions count with communications
As any successful networker knows, appearance is crucial to make a good first impression. So it’s just as well that the member magazine for Glasgow Chamber of Commerce – a source of networking opportunities – is looking sharp.
Thanks to the creative prowess of Connect’s designers, Glasgow Business magazine looks so good that it secured the award for best redesign at the IOIC Scotland Awards 2012.
There’s more going on, though, between the covers. It also has cracking content – some of which is written by our in-house writers – updating the Glasgow business community on how to go about boosting their success through advice, availing themselves of helpful Chamber services and, crucially, helping to get connected with other businesses.
We don’t just create the magazine for the Chamber every two months, we also produce a monthly e-newsletter, as well as an annual diary and directory. And all of this communications activity is supported by quality advertising.
Richard Muir, deputy chief executive of the Chamber, said: “In the experience of Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, we have found Connect to be excellent and flexible. It has displayed a first-class level of service and has been very innovative and proactive in its approach. It has a good team and is very attentive to its clients’ needs and helped us hugely in the redesign of our award-winning magazine, which is one of our most important communications tools. Connect is a pleasure to work with.”
