When a business is flying high as the best in the world, it needs a customer magazine that matches its reputation.

Capital magazine is the showcase for everything that the airport, Edinburgh and Scotland have to offer.

With a mix of travel, tourism, business, news and shopping, the pocket-sized publication is packed with easily digestible information for visitors, both local and international.

Capital had been in existence for a number of years before being successfully relaunched by Connect. We now write, design and edit the magazine, and, crucially, sell advertising targeted specifically to those coming into the capital, which makes it a highly cost-effective marketing tool for the airport.

Gordon Robertson, head of communications at Edinburgh Airport, said: “Capital’s key role is to promote the airport to our customers and help them to make the most of the facilities that are on offer both outbound and inbound.

“We hope that the future of the magazine is bright and, given the start we’ve had since the relaunch, we are confident that it will be.”

And proof that the magazine has taken off – Capital reached new heights when it was featured by an industry magazine as among the top 10 airport magazines.
