Magazine embodies the spirit of teamwork
Drinks manufacturer William Grant & Sons may have its roots in Scottish soil, but it has become a global player in the drinks industry. And Connect is helping its staff around the world feel like a close part of the family business through a range of communications.
We have worked with the company for a number of years on its staff magazine, Spirit. Originally a newsletter for staff based in Scotland, it is now a flagship title for employees across the globe. We’ve helped the company develop a premium magazine that would take prized position on any coffee table.
Like the company’s brands, the magazine has become a coveted part of its heritage – something that makes employees proud. Our efforts to bring the pages in the magazine alive with great design and imaginative concepts for content has been recognised with several awards in recent years, and our ambitions for the magazine continue.
As a result, William Grant & Sons has also engaged us in a range of other publishing projects – including booklets and guides to support and drive their award-winning internal communication strategy.
Innis Scott, internal communications manager, said: “Connect continues to support and drive innovation in our publications. It never rests on its laurels and we work really well together to continually develop everything we do. The output speaks for itself.”
