Space age cover star
Connect is always looking for ways to make our clients' publications stand out from the crowd, and with the new issue of Infinite magazine for the University of Edinburgh, we've done just that.
Connect works with Edinburgh Research & Innovation (ERI), the commercialisation and industry engagement arm of the University, to produce Infinite. The magazine highlights some of the exciting research commercialisation, industry engagement and entrepreneurial activities that are taking place at the University. The new issue looks at how Edinburgh has been in the vanguard of the robotics evolution, including the work being done in the development of NASA's humanoid robot, Valkyrie.
With a stunning image of Valkyrie selected for the cover shot, Connect proposed applying a special spot UV treatment to make the robot stand out in front of a starry sky.
“When I received my advance copies of the magazine I only had one word…WOW!"
“The cover looks great!" said ERI Marketing Manager Alex Proudfoot. “When I received my advance copies of the magazine I only had one word…WOW!"
“I'm sure the printed copy will blow everyone away when they receive it.
“Thanks to the Connect team for doing such a fantastic job this year."
